Main Hall

The original church building, dating back to the 1800s, is the largest space at the Elmgrove Centre, offering seating for up to 300 guests. This historic venue in central Bristol is a multi-purpose event space, perfect for a wide variety of occasions, from DIY weddings to corporate events and more.

The main hall is complemented by it's adjoining spaces, the Green Room, Frome Room, and a fully equipped kitchen for event catering, all of which are included in our whole day and 10 hour bookings of the main hall.

With its vast ceiling, stunning stained glass windows, and impressive stone pillars, the Elmgrove Centre main hall provides a breathtaking backdrop for weddings and anniversaries. The venue’s natural acoustics also make it a dream setting for choirs, concerts, and other musical events. It has a rich history of supporting theatre and dance, including hosting rehearsals for BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing and performances by top theatre production companies.
The main hall is fully accessible, with step-free access throughout, including ramps for the short entrance and stage steps, as well as an accessible toilet.
